Pastor- Eric Spano

Eric hails from Naples, Florida and has pastored Mount Pleasant for 3 1/2 years.
He and his wife Gina have 4 children - Lauren (18), Matthew (12), Timothy (9), and
Christopher (7). Eric is an alumni of the University of Alabama, Birmingham,
and graduate of Southewestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Staying true to his tenure in Texas, Eric loves Dallas Cowboys football...
which can sometimes be rough on the Redskins fans that make up this region.
Eric enjoys golf, basketball, cooking, and spending time with his wife and family.

Associate Pastor/Youth Pastor- Jason Cockayne

Jason is originally from Orange Park, Florida. He and his wife, Angel, met while
in college at Tennessee Temple University where he received at Bachelor' Degree
in Youth Ministry. Jason began his ministry with the Christian Cheerleaders of
America in 1999. In 2003, Jason served as Associate Pastor, Music Leader,
and Youth Pastor in West Virginia. Jason joined MPBC's ministry staff in May
2007. Jason has a daughter (Kiley), and another girl on the way!

Music Minister- Monte Martin

Monte is native to the Roanoke area, and studied mechanical engineering at Virginia Western.
Monte has been serving as Music Minster at MPBC for 5 years. Monte and his wife Libby
have two daughters, Amy and April. Monte has an extensive musical background,
playing saxophone in a band. Monte works in the Night Vision department at ITT,
and loves working/playing on the computer.
